A one-day event offering talks, workshops, and networking opportunities for psychology students.
This year’s VSPA Conference will take place on 18 February at CREA, Roeterseiland Campus, bringing together students and experts for a full day dedicated to discussing personal and societal change and the resilience that necessarily stems from it.
The conference will feature three guest speakers who are specialists in the field, offering perspectives that range from individual coping strategies to resilience at a broader social and institutional level. Participants will gain practical insights into how resilience can be developed and applied in everyday and professional life.
In addition to the speaker sessions, students will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop, designed to support them in networking and exploring future career paths.
The workshop will take place in an informal setting and will include free drinks, encouraging open conversation and engagement among participants and experts alike.
In a world where information is absurdly abundant, and our cognition is the most valuable asset we possess, the ability to formulate an educated choice between resilience and change, when faced with society’s stimuli is nothing short of extraordinary.
Moreover, by attending the conference, students can earn three colloquium points, which represent 60% of the total points required throughout the bachelor’s degree program. This makes the event not only an enriching learning experience, but also a valuable academic opportunity.
Tickets for the conference are now available via the VSPA website. Due to limited capacity, early registration is recommended. For updates, speaker announcements, and additional information, students are encouraged to follow VSPA on Instagram!
